Among The Bones was born in the spring of 2009 in London, England. Taking cues from Earth's drones, Hawkwind's space rock and Ennio Morricone's arid desert guitars, the musical atmosphere conjured is one of vast open spaces and desolate landscapes.

Valentin Féron founded Henryspenncer in 2008 after being involved in films scores, electro industrial and hardcore bands.
His music is deeply marked by Northern Scotland and all other forms of wild and steep landscapes, as well as artists like Grails, Six Organs of Admittance, Neil Young (Dead Man soundtrack), Chu Ishikawa, and various other metal/noise/stoner bands...

Since "The Shelter Days", his first self-released album in 2009, Henryspenncer's music has aimed to embody distant imaginary deserts in a confrontation of different music styles (psychedelic, folk, metal, ambient).

"To The Timeless Valley", Henryspenncer's second album, is Bookmaker Records first release and we are proud to launch with such a personal and evocative record.

Michael James Tapscott is one half of internationally acclaimed fringe folk darlings, ODAWAS, but also an entire universe unto himself.
Taking psychotropic paths through forgotten exotic literature, extrapolating mysticism from the shag-toothed street peddlers, his is a world of wonder that seethes just below the surface of yer perspective skull jellies. Stitched together from an electric eclectic sonic palette where synthesizers sigh next to the jingle-jangle buzz of 12 steel strings and the plitter-patter purr of cybernetic drum circles.
And here is Michael, eyes wild and green, with his hand outstretched, some secret curling across his lips as they part, and he asks, "Would you to take a journey, old friend?" Assuming you didn't throw up, then hope that's OK. Be excited about where we can go together, regardless of where we might be.

Seabuckthorn recently performed in a gallery, in Bristol. No one was allowed to watch. Instead, they were encouraged to wander by, glimpsing little more than a silhouette through frosted glass whilst slow, bruising riffs tumbled into the adjoining gallery space. It was a typical show for the guitarist, an exercise in atmospherics as much as in melodies.

Now four years old as Seabuckthorn, and with an equal number of releases by that name, Andy Cartwright's alter ego continues to drift, nomad like, through his uniquely crafted musical landscapes. Making brief stopovers to perform in Britain's towns and cities along the way, his music explores alternative terrains on six to twelve strings, often with minimal, layered accompaniments. It's a unique and characterful style, as richly influenced by numerous global folk traditions as it is his self-taught origins. Sometimes quietly ambient, often powerfully expressive, Seabuckthorn lets time inform the evolution of his music, with one eye on old stomping grounds and another looking ahead.

Sunfighter is American multi-instrumentalist Steven Siciliano's latest project.
Steven plays a warm, mostly instrumental music that may recall Pink Floyd in some uncluttered version. Between meditative drone and deep hypnotic psychedelism.

Steven describes Sunfighter’s approach as follows :

"I really feel that there is so much more to be influenced by then just music. Music can be the audio to our true nature, it has to exsist well beyond the conventions of our music industry and even beyond our understanding as it is now.
I truly think it can be a vehicle of sorts. And music is just part of this 'magical' equation. Personally I find my influences coming more from silence, sunny mornings, the birds migrating here in spring, farming and just being part of this whole thing that is much greater than me. It's humbling and awesome. These mysteries are in a sense, the food Sunfighter was reared on. It's a culmination of my life experiences to this point and Sunfighter, I believe will grow with me.
Sunfighter takes a more organic approach, but I wanted it to have more weight then anything I had done in The White Lodge, sonically I think I'm achieving that. Ultimately Sunfighter might be more of an open question then an answer. In the end that's what comes through."

Some songs off "Golden Eagle of Illumination" were featured on an unreleased CDr of his former project The White Lodge. As Bookmaker Records intended to release this CDr, Steven took the decision to completly re-interpret and re-record the whole opus under the name Sunfighter. Several new songs have been added to the first version.
